Brite Star was picked to be the group to represent One Hope United, a non-profit organization.  One Hope United is one of the organizations picked for the Citrus Bowl Parade and they picked us as the sport to represent them.  The theme is sports and the music is Firework by Katy Perry. One Hope United’s mission is to protect children and strengthen families.  Participants will have an opportunity to work on the Citrus Float and have airtime on 150 stations across the country, Canada and Great Britain!  Locally the parade will air on ABC at 1100am.  We are very proud of our team for continuing to represent our sport in a positive light!

Mark your Calendars!  Our first competition of the 2012 season will be the Jewels Twirling Academy Contest on January 7th.  This contest is in South Florida and will be our first time attending!  We will be researching hotels as the time nears if you desire to spend the night.  

The next competition is on February 4th with Solid Gold and the Palm Beach Twirling Classic, again in South Florida
March will be the Gainesville All Star Classic
April is the State Championship at Polk State College in Polk County
And, of course, May is our AAU Junior Olympic Qualifier! 
As you can see, we have a busy year ahead...there will be other contests and we will have information posted as the dates near!  Stay tuned...

2011 AAU Southeast Super Regional Qualifier and Open Twirling Contest Results!  Teams  Solo AAU Qualifiers Titles Open Events

The AAU Southeast Super Regional Qualifier for the 2012 Junior Olympics will be held on May 19th at Timber Creek High School at 8am.  
                 We are looking forward to Houston and hope everyone participates.  Participation age for ALL events will be your age the first  day of AAU
